June the 29th saw the members of the Cambridge Koi Club descend on the sleepy village of Hubberts Bridge to visit the pond and garden of club members Peter and Lilly Kirby.

Being a typical day out for the club, the weather was no on our side!

Following a hiccup with our winter venue, our February meeting was postponed until 7 March, which wasn’t a bad thing given the horrible weather we had this winter. At fairly short notice we asked a couple of fellow hobbyists if they could do a slide show of their trip to Japan.

On a snowy and cold Sunday 21st February, 14 dedicated koi keepers from the club met up at a snow covered carpark in Peterborough and joined the minibus (ably driven by Iain ‘chaos’ Kirkbright and assisted by his trusty steed, Sat nav) en-route to the East Midlands Koi Club Winter Koi Show.
