2009 Grow and Show
For 2009 the club decided to 'go British' and headed down the M40 to see Mark and Lisa at Cuttlebrook Koi Farm to pick from a selection of their Tosai Showa.

Mark had kept back a number of high grade Showa from last years spawning for us to select from (any not chosen were to be placed in to the mud pond once we had left) and had these proudly on display in a vat for us upon our arrival.

We spent the morning having a tour of the facilities before moving onto lunch and then watching some Sanke fry being taken from the holding pond and placed into a mud pond where they would stay until the first harvest and culling took place.

Once all of this had taken place the draw started with each person that had chosen to take part being allocated a raffle ticket which would, when pulled from the hat, determine their place in the selection order.

The pictures of these fish as taken at Cuttlebrook can now be seen on the gallery, and there is also now a further picture taken on the 10th of October 2009 showing how the fish have developed in their short time in their new owners ponds.
