Firsty, appologies must be given for the late arrivals, these were all due to the football i'm afraid, but after a tense time in front of the television, what better way to unwind than with a drink in hand looking at some koi?

Over the winter months of 2007/2008 Roger and Sue have been busy building a new poly tunnel shop area for the koi tanks and dry goods, it has certainly made the premises much larger than before and there is even a useable walkway in place to get to the tunnel in question, something Dave commented on being much safer than the last time he visited!

The tunnel is laid out with 2 large tanks at the back, with a number of tanks making up the sides of the tunnel and a large display pond in the middle, there is still work to be completed but the overall feeling of the visitors was that it was well laid out with plenty on offer.

Thankfully there were drinks and some food laid on by Roger and Sue, and after being in the polytunnel with air temperatures of over 30 degrees, liquid refreshment was much needed and welcomed by all.

Roger spent some time explaining the future plans for the business and they all sound very promising and will no doubt help raise the profile of what is the only dedicated Japanese koi dealers in Cambridgeshire.

As is normal with club visits, everyone was in a friendly and chatty mood and the conversation as normal was about our koi, our ponds and the plans that many have for both over the coming summer months, it is fair to say that a majority of the club members will be making some changes to their systems this year.

The CKC would like to extend it's thanks to Roger and Sue for allowing us to take up their Sunday evening and the warm welome that we received, i'm sure that many of the members will be visiting again in the near future.
